A very negative experience that I hope others can avoid. The one and only time I spoke directly with the solicitor was during the initial phone call where I explained exactly what we needed. We were quoted for approximately 10 hours worth of work when dealing with a new commercial lease on a property. I fully understand unforeseen costs can occur throughout the process but not to a level of nearly 3 times what the initial cost quoted was and no communication of these costs being added. Once the process had begun the only person we were ever able to communicate with was the paralegal and never the solicitor directly. We also noticed that most of the communication sent to us was always around 5pm, after our working hours and things couldn’t then be actioned until the next day causing further delays. We also explained the need for this process to be completed by April, around 4 weeks after first communication. The solicitor said that it might be possible but it might take a bit longer than this. It was a time sensitive situation but we were expecting some delay. We ended up acquiring the building mid-June. We were really disappointed that the extra costs added to our bill was never explained or communicated beforehand.
RIP off… want £150 to return a call. Surely they need to hear what is required !
Good service and great customer service and overall a great experience dealing with this firm. Cost is good.
